As a pastor in multiracial Waukegan, I have been inspired by interracial friendships and marriages that reflect the work of Jesus.  These life-giving connections are the focus of my Ambassadors series.  In each piece, I aim to depict the beauty and complexity of interracial relationships by assembling partially abstracted portraits and figures from discarded items.  By redeeming tossed materials into creative compositions, my hope is to convey the artistic way in which God fuses different image-bearers together to make life in him rich, deep, difficult, and beautiful.
